Extra warranty is always good, and that is what you’ll get when you purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ at Senheng.

Senheng and senQ stores nationwide are offering an ­additional one-year PlusOne ­warranty when you get the next-gen smartphones.

Buyers can also opt for an ­interest-free instalment plan (up to 24 months) and use the pay with points (PWP) programme to get Samsung original accessories, including covers, wireless ­charger, 64GB microSD card and Belkin Type-C fast charging cable.

And customers who purchase the phones with either Aeon Easy Payment or Citibank credit card will get a Samsung 32GB microSD card for free, though it’s limited to the first 400 customers for each

The much-awaited S9 and S9+ are the first Galaxy smartphones to feature a 12-megapixel Super Speed Dual Pixel camera on the back with dual apertures – f/1.5 to f/2.4. This allows the camera to let in more light when it’s dark and less light when it’s too bright for sharper, clearer images.

Both the phones have stereo speakers tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos for a more ­immersive audio experience.

The Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8in Infinity Display while the S9+ with a 6.2in screen. The S9+ also has an addition 12-megapixel camera with telephoto lens on the back.

The Galaxy S9 64GB retails for RM3,299 while the S9+ comes in several capacities – 64GB (RM3,799), 128GB (RM3,999) and 256GB (RM4,399). They are ­available in a variety of colours, including Midnight Black, Coral Blue and the new Lilac Purple.
