To disrupt Reliance Jio’s market, Airtel has revised its Rs 799 prepaid plan. Under the new plan, users will get up to 3.5GB 4G data per day. In total, the plan offers 98GB total data with a validity of 28 days.
The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls, however, there is a daily limit of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes for the week. The company made this tariff available for subscribers in Delhi/NCR, Assam, UP East, Chennai, Mumbai, UP West and Uttarakhand, etc, in November 2017.

Apart from offering tempting tariff plans, Airtel has also announced its partnership with Intex to offer a low cost bundled 4G smartphone at a price of Rs 1,649 in a bid to counter JioPhone.
Two other smartphones - Aqua A4 and Aqua S3 - will also be available at effective prices of Rs 1,999 and Rs 4,379, respectively as part of the partnership.
Airtel, which has similar partnerships with handset makers Celkon and Karbonn, has expanded its 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative in collaboration with Intex, a statement said.
