Vodafone upgrades its Rs 348 plan now offer 2GB daily data and more

Vodafone, largest telecom company in the world. Having a high percentage of Indian telecom users looks for an upgrade to fight the rival firms. Since the launch of Jio, there have been plenty changes in the telecom Demography. With Airtel pulling their socks for the competition Now its Vodafone’s turn.

The plan is currently upgraded for the Rajasthan users only, But Delhi NCR users are able to avail this offer.
Plan Details
Vodafone Rs 348 plan has a validity of 28 days, The Plan offers 2GB data per day. Hence, users get to benefit from a total of 56GB high-speed data for the period. It also offers unlimited calls(with limits)  with a daily limit of 250 minutes which is around 4 hours 10 minutes and weekly limit of 1000 minutes.
The SMS hasn’t been announced with the packs, It seems the plan might not include free SMS. Which the counterparts be it Airtel or Jio offer includes. Rest on the network standard all Networks perform same.

Competition

In terms of competition, the telecom industry has been very competitive in last 2 years. After the entry of Jio in the telecom industry, the prices of the Internet plan has crashed to near 80-85% or more.  Earlier 1Gb 4G data did cost RS 249 and now 2Gb 4G data per day cost RS 348.
In terms of  2Gb data per day plans, Airtel offers the same plan with addition 100SMS per day for a price of RS 349 for a period of 28days. Jio offers the same plan with unlimited SMS for RS 509 for 45 days. Jio’s plan looks costlier in the first look but it costs RS 11.31 and Airtel and Vodafone plans cost 12.42 per day.
