New Delhi: Amid intense competition from Reliance Jio, telecom biggies like Airtel, Vodafone and others have come out with new prepaid recharge plans offering higher data and unlimited call benefits among others. After offering 1 GB data per day and unlimited calls, the latest in the offering by these telcos are 2GB data per day. Recently, Airtel and Vodafone have launched recharge plan offering 2GB data per day. Here is a look at the plans offered by these telcos:
Vodafone Rs. 348 recharge plan
Vodafone which was earlier offering 1GB data per day per day under its Rs. 348 prepaid recharge plan, now offers 2GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls. Validity of the plan is 28 days. Subscribers of this plan will get a total of up to 56 GB of data in 28 days. This plan is available on both 3G and 4G handsets. Vodafone said on its website. Airtel Rs. 349 recharge plan
Like Vodafone, Airtel is offering 2GB data per day under its Rs 349 recharge plan. This plan is also valid for 28 days, means subscribers will get a total of 56 GB data in 28 days. This plan also comes with unlimited local and STD call benefits along with unlimited roaming calls. Users will also get 100 SMSes per day in this plan.
Despite offering 2GB data per day, these recharge plans lag compared to Reliance Jio, according to industry experts as Jio is offering higher validity on plans of similar value.
Reliance Jio is currently offering 1GB data per day for 49 days under its Rs 309 recharge plan and 1 GB data per day for 70 days under its Rs 399 plan. Both these plans come with unlimited voice calling, roaming calls and SMS. Meanwhile, Jio is also offering 2GB data per day for 49 days under its Rs 509 recharge plan.
